While the Lodge and grounds are designed for comfort and total relaxation, there are a wide range of activities for those wanting to be more adventurous. Horseback Riding
 It will take you back
to the wild untamed lands of the old west where you will enjoy
chuck wagon dining on this excursion and songs around the
campfire. Good singers may join in or provide the music!!!
Horseback riding ranges from private instruction in a corral to short or long rides on miles of forest trails, through beautiful glens and across streams, or along mountain ridges. There are over 60 trout filled lakes with high mountain meadows which can easily be reached on horseback or by hiking. Riding is available year round and guests may bring their own horses by prior arrangement.
